Telling the stories of people with unique bodies and features using photography, video essays & interviews. The team collaborated for content planning and each took lead on several projects.
As the intended demographic for Nor·Mal was decided upon as alternative teens and young adults in Ireland, we began building a brand identity that would inform the look of our website and projects.
Process
Appearing as "Nor·Mal", we attended events geared towards alternative culture, such as the Galway Tattoo Show, and documented the people and the culture.
We wanted to include the stories of the people in Galway. We conducted photoshoots, street interviews & sit-down interviews with people. The visual identity of Nor·Mal was at the forefront of the creative process, as the gritty, counter-culture style can be seen factored into the shooting and editing.
Outcome
A complete website and social media platform, built to amplify voices & platform that will be expanded upon with more communities and projects.
